22.08.2010A ROUND OF APPLAUSE AT SAN SIRO

Given that the issue of Berlusconi Trophy "spell" seems to be broken and above all that we have won..., now we can say that the win of such a prestigious match is always more than welcome and even if it was awarded on penalties it still carries a positive message!

However, during the 90 minutes of match, the team competed a nice game, despite the great heat particularly fastidious yesterday evening and the necessity to focus on the more important event to come, that is the European League play off second leg match against Sturm Graz. The friendly match was well balanced, and Milan, as always, proved to be an excellent opponent and will remain such for the whole season.
Our long pre-Championship period is about to end, the week that lies ahead will be real busy, and includes the season debut against Bari.
Yesterday match was another important step on the journey we started at the beginning of July, on Thursday we have just to complete our work and to dive into the Championship.
Honestly speaking, what I'll remember about the Berlusconi Trophy isn't linked to the technical or tactical aspect and not even to my performance, but to what happened after. I really appreciated the round of applause the public awarded me with at the moment of substitution, because I realized that clapping hands at San Siro weren't only Juventus fans. I hold in high regard this mark of respect and I would like to thank all who were generous to conferred it on me.
